Refund Policy

We want you to be confident that RecoverHelper works for your situation before you commit. We strongly recommend trying the Free version first — it scans your disk and shows what is recoverable for the supported formats (JPG, PNG). If you can see your files in the Free scan, the Pro upgrade will be able to recover them.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
You may request a full refund of a Pro purchase within 14 days of the purchase date, for any reason. There is no need to justify the request.
2. How to request a refund
- Email support@recoverhelper.com with the subject line “Refund request”.
- Include your order ID (sent in your purchase confirmation email) or the email address used at checkout.
- We will forward the request to our payments provider, Lemon Squeezy, who issues the refund to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
3. Effect on your license
When a refund is processed, the corresponding Pro license is deactivated and any installed Pro features will revert to Free on the next license check. The Free version remains available to you.
4. Exceptions
Refunds may be declined where the request is clearly fraudulent, where the same customer has previously received refunds for repeated purchases of the same product, or where the request is made outside the 14-day window. Statutory consumer-protection rights (where they apply, e.g. under EU/UK/Australian law) are not affected.
5. Chargebacks
If you have an issue, please contact us first — we are usually able to resolve refund requests faster than a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in suspension of any associated licenses.
